Airship designs

Airships are very Steampunk so I made a few airship necklaces. I have a few other new pieces and will post pics as I get them done. These were fun to make but a little tricky :) The propellers spin so I'm going to tell kids they are mini fidget spinners!

Same jewelry, different layout

I've been playing around with a different setup in my light box. I decided to try out a more industrial /Steampunk look. Let me know... yay or nay?

New Steampunk Jewelry for the fall craft fair season

Our cat Minnie love to "help" me make jewelry. She love chain and will sit in whatever area you planned on working in. As you can see she is not amused when I asked her to move!

These are a few new pieces I've been working on for the upcoming fall season. I'm pretty excited to be going back to Junk Stock this fall! More pics to come...

The trend seems to be going to chokers so I'm trying a few of those this year as well.

Polymer clay on wine glasses

Area artists were asked to create with wine glasses, mugs, or mason jars for the Norfolk Art Centers VIBE! Fundraiser, Social, Concert, Experience. I
took 5 wine glasses and some polymer clay and came up with these. I though at first I would paint on them, but I have painted on glass before and its not easy. I think they turned out really cool and the art center seemed to like them as well.

Maxwell Originals

My talented daughter Jessica is joining me at Soup-R-Art this year with her Industrial/Steampunk lamps. I love all of her designs and they really make our booth stand out! Have a look at what she has created...

This is a meat grinder with a bulb on the inside!

I love this one! It's so Steampunk!

Soup-R-Art Stock

I have been getting ready for one of the best shows of the year! Soup-R-Art is a local fundraiser for the Art Center and it combines a soup competition with the local restaurants and local artists selling and demonstrating their art work. This is a great event and I love being a part of it. (I also love trying all of the amazing soups, desserts, and wine!) Here are a few of the newer pieces I have been working on for this show...
