I participated in a swap given by Marsha at tattered chick . The swap was for a small handbag! This is the bag that I made for my partner Kim at Tabby's Place . I started with a simple canvas bag and use my stash of lace and buttons and my new flowers. The image is from one of my favorite ETSY stores magymai . I also added an old key and an old watchface.
But why make just one?I was having so much fun I kept going and ended up with ....six bags! The first one I made just for Kim, so I decided to give one of these extras as a giveaway! This is the awesome bag that
Kim made me! (sorry,this one is mine!) she used a vintage tea towel with great red ruffles already on it! I love the color combination of red gray and black!
She also sent me this awesome book on how to draw steampunk characters! It's so cool! (she knows I have a "thing" for steampunk!)
and she also sent a card and a really cool steampunkish vintage looking pin! Thanks Kim!!!! Good luck everyone!
