House and Barn painting

These are two paintings I just finished. The lady that ordered them wanted paintings of her grandparents farm place before it was torn down.

The lighting in the room was not good so the pics are really out of focus and the coloring isn't accurate.. but you get the idea!

Now on to the next project!

Awesome paintings Wendy. I can't imagine why they would tear down these beautiful buildings.
What a wonderful remembrance you have created for them.

Hi Wendy, first of all thanks for posting my giveaway button on your blog and leaving a nice comment.
2ndly, Wow I love your paintings. Got an easel for Christmas and some tube acrylics and brushes so my plan for this year is to expand and learn to paint scenes etc. Folkart is fun and quick but I need a new challenge. These are incredible.

Your work is beautiful, Wendy! She will treasure these wonderful paintings, I'm sure. I wish I could live in a farmhouse like that, I think it's terrible that it's being torn down! I came over from Cindy's and I'm following you!
Be blessed!
