Steampunk Jewelry Part 4 and ghost cookies

I made these ghost cookies for a Halloween craft day at our town library tomorrow for the kids. The recipe is on the family fun magazine website. Basically it's nutter butter cookies dipped in white almond bark and mini chocolate chips for the eyes. I think they turned out pretty cute!

this necklace is actually pretty small... only about an inch long

We found some old keys at an auction and I've been trying to incorporate them into my jewelry

Auction Goodies!

My husband went to an auction yesterday and brought me back some goodies!

Love the old tin cups,and I've been looking for some domino's for a domino book.

this is an awesome tin and the color is still really nice

these playing cards are so tiny! they will be perfect for an ATC

tiny bingo cards and some other ephemera came with it

this is a really neat school autograph book....not sure what to do with it yet..let me know if you have any ideas!

I love keys.. and there are some really ornate ones I can use in my jewelry

lots of buttons! I see lots of craft projects in front of me!

Steampunk Jewelry ( part 3 )

Well I did not get enough time this weekend to paint once again.But I did make a few new necklaces here and there so I at least have something to show! I also finished my very first ATC. That was a lot of fun...and a little intimidating. I think it turned out O.K. for my first one.It was also not the easiest subject for me (movie monsters). I will show pics of it as soon as the swap is over and my partner (also Wendy) receives it!

I like this one because it shows the incredibly ornate designs within the watch.I can't believe how detailed it all is and no one ever sees it!

I found these little bottles that are great for the tiny watch parts that are to small to work with...but they are really cute in the bottle.

My first ATC ever!

I won this beautiful ATC from Laura Carson at http://artfullymusing.blogspot.com! It just came in the mail today and I was so excited to get it!It's the first ATC I've ever received from anyone...I'm going to try to do one soon.I just love it!

it's so much more detailed than I thought it would be! I love the little flowers and dragonfly.
