Steampunk...leather!

Something a little bit new from me! Leather! I had some scrap leather from my mini books and wanted to try something new with it. I stamped a steampunk design into the leather , stained it , and made some earrings. It was a fun project, and we will see if there is any interest in these when I hit the craft show circuit.

5 foot saw painting

I haven't painted in quit awhile and I've been wanting to get back into it a little more. I got the opportunity to jump back in with this commission saw. The client gave me a few pictures and an idea of where he wanted everything to go. I think it turned out pretty good overall and I'm hoping he will like it as well!

Airship designs

Airships are very Steampunk so I made a few airship necklaces. I have a few other new pieces and will post pics as I get them done. These were fun to make but a little tricky :) The propellers spin so I'm going to tell kids they are mini fidget spinners!

Same jewelry, different layout

I've been playing around with a different setup in my light box. I decided to try out a more industrial /Steampunk look. Let me know... yay or nay?

New Steampunk Jewelry for the fall craft fair season

Our cat Minnie love to "help" me make jewelry. She love chain and will sit in whatever area you planned on working in. As you can see she is not amused when I asked her to move!

These are a few new pieces I've been working on for the upcoming fall season. I'm pretty excited to be going back to Junk Stock this fall! More pics to come...

The trend seems to be going to chokers so I'm trying a few of those this year as well.

Polymer clay on wine glasses

Area artists were asked to create with wine glasses, mugs, or mason jars for the Norfolk Art Centers VIBE! Fundraiser, Social, Concert, Experience. I
took 5 wine glasses and some polymer clay and came up with these. I though at first I would paint on them, but I have painted on glass before and its not easy. I think they turned out really cool and the art center seemed to like them as well.
